A Letter From the Founder of E51DEPT
E51DEPT was never created to simply make T-shirts.
It started with an idea that you could build something from very little, give it your own identity, and eventually create something that people could see themselves in.
I’m Yoyoo, I’m the founder of E51DEPT, and this brand is one of the biggest representations of my journey.
There were moments when the idea of building a clothing brand felt bigger than my circumstances. No perfect setup. No massive team. No guaranteed financial backing. Just an idea, a willingness to keep learning, and the decision to start anyway.
E51DEPT became my answer to that.
MORE THAN CLOTHING
We believe what you wear should say something about you.
E51DEPT draws from street culture, everyday life, individuality and the energy of people who refuse to be defined by where they started.
We aren’t interested in making clothes simply because clothing sells.
We want to build pieces that people remember.
Pieces that become part of someone’s everyday life. Pieces that travel with them, represent moments, and eventually become part of their story.
That is the standard we’re working toward.
BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP
Everything about E51DEPT is still a work in progress.
Every collection teaches us something. Every customer teaches us something. Every mistake gives us something to improve.
We’ve learned that building a brand isn’t just about having good products.
It’s about the experience.
It’s about how someone feels when they discover your brand, place their first order, receive their package, wear their piece and eventually come back because they believe in what you’re building.
That’s why we’re constantly working to improve how E51DEPT operates from product development and packaging to customer service, accessibility and the way we present the brand.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
E51DEPT is entering a different phase.
We’re moving beyond simply releasing products and beginning to build a complete ecosystem around the brand.
Our upcoming releases represent that progression.
From premium everyday pieces to performance driven products like the E51 AIRFLOW T01, we’re exploring what E51DEPT can become without losing what made us start in the first place.
The AIRFLOW T01 is particularly important because it represents our first step into performance wear creating something designed for movement while maintaining the identity and aesthetic of E51DEPT.
This isn’t about doing more just for the sake of doing more.
It’s about becoming better.

The destination is bigger than the first collection.
Bigger than the first website.
